UKRI BBSRC Virtual Joint Centres in Agricultural Nitrogen Meeting, London, Dec. 2019
On behalf of IUNFC, Prof. Phil Poole, Dr Beatriz Jórrin, Dr Anil Saxena and Dr DLN Rao attended this meeting to discuss the progress and achievements of the VJCs in Brazil, China and India.
Other IUNFC colleagues, Marta Maluk and Ray Dixon were also present.
3rd IUNFC Annual Meeting, 2018
This meeting took place in Mau, Uttar Pradesh, hosted by Dr Anil Saxena at ICAR-NBAIM, 13th-14th Nov. 2018

Representing IUNFC at this meeting Phil Poole, Ray Dixon and Vinoy Ramachandran from UK met up with Indian colleagues DLN Rao, Maitrayee DasGupta, Anil Saxena, Naresh Kumar, Mahesh Reddy, Anirban Basu and Chalasani Danteswari in New Delhi. IUNFC came together with the other Nitrogen Virtual Centres: CINTRIN, NEWS India-UK and INEW for fruitful discussions.

2nd IUNFC Annual Meeting, 2017
The 2nd Annual Meeting took place at Department of Plant Sciences, University of Oxford on 11th-13th Sept. 2017.
It was great to welcome the project leaders from India and all IUNFC UK scientists to Oxford. Highlights reported during the meeting include excellent progress on bacterial sample collection from sites across India, sequencing and genomic analysis of pigeon-pea-nodulating bacterial strains and development of techniques for use in later stages of the project. We return to work with renewed enthusiasm!
