During my PhD I have acquired a strong background in genomics and host specificity in the legume-rhizobia symbiosis. In this IUNFC project my responsibility is to study the best rhizobia-pigeon pea partnership through genomic analysis and competition assays in order to obtain the best grain yield performance.
